As if to demonstrate contempt for Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) covenant for Muslims to protect St. Catherine’s monastery, ISIS boasts of its attack on policemen near the Christian holy site:

NU Leader Said Aqil Siradj says that the Indonesian “form of Islam, called Islam Nusantara, … matches better with Indonesian traditions and culture than more austere Arabic forms of the religion” …

… yet a Muslim won the election in part because many Muslim voters felt the verse translatable as  “Do not take the Jews and Christians as your guardians” prohibits voting for a Christian for governor:

“As a Christian in the United States, I had Sundays off from school. My winter and spring breaks usually freed me up for Christmas and Easter (… and at one point we even got Good Friday off too)”:

Among the plaintiffs are brides trying to bring parents for their weddings and LGBT refugees. “Most are using pseudonyms in court … because they fear retaliation from the U.S. government if identified”:
