Trump demands Iran’s “unconditional surrender …

… and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt explains what he meant:

“Article 51 … has a mandatory procedural element, in that any state employing self-defence is immediately required to notify the Security Council. Iran has consistently evaded this requirement” …

… and “Iran is serving Israel’s interests by attacking its Arab neighbours” …

… and Iran’s President suggests that troops “fired at will” absent commanders who had been killed, but will “Iran’s military commanders who traditionally take their instructions from the [now dead] ayatollah” stop the strikes?

“The elite 82nd Airborne Division, which specializes in ground combat and other fraught missions, is awaiting new orders after the unexpected change of plans”:

“The targeting information has included the locations of American warships and aircraft in the Middle East” …

… which Hegseth thinks would be a good excuse for war with Russia:

…. and the White House itself conflates depicts the war with video games and movies its propaganda videos:
